7/14 (Mon) Sketch the Confluence in Eau Claire

Monday, July 14   5:00 - 6:30 

Our next sketch adventure will take place at Phoenix Park / Hay Market area, downtown Eau Claire. Enjoy a summer early evening sketching the view of the confluence where Chippewa and Eau Claire rivers meet. Things to draw - bridges, the Pablo Center, the historic Cameron-Drummond-Slagsvold Building, sculptures and people enjoying fishing and strolling etc.

5:00 pm Quick meet-and-greet by Phoenix Park Trailhead Plaza (near Phoenix Park Bridge and bathroom facility by Barstow st.)
6:20 pm Gather back for a throwdown and a group photo. 

Parking: Off street parking by Phoenix Park and nearby. Public Parking /w fee is also within a block. 

Chair: Lots of benches in the area. Bring a chair or a picnic blanket if you'd like.

We are expecting a special guest, Kendra! She's visiting her hometown Minnesota & Wisconsin from Tokyo where she currently resides and volunteers as one of USk Tokyo admins. 
Come join us for supper at Galloway Grill (409 Galloway st.) after the outing, and if you want, keep sketching in drink-and-draw style!
