Urban Sketcher – Hansen Gallery at the Pablo Center – Sketch the Sketcher

UPDATE: WE WILL STILL BE DRAWING TODAY. Please be aware the travel conditions are sketchy so please know that joining is at your own risk. The Life Drawing folks will be there and the public is welcome. It's hard to predict how many people will show up. Also, be aware there's a performance at 2 p.m. as well. When you come in the doors remind the ushers you are going to the Hansen Gallery to sketch.

LOCATION:  James W. Hansen Gallery at the Pablo Center, 128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire, WI

DATE/TIME:  Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2p - 4p.  Meet outside the Hansen Gallery at 2 pm. 

THROW DOWN:  3:50p, outside the Hansen Gallery.

DESCRIPTION:  A unique opportunity to sketch Life Drawers and models. Models include: "Ruby" who will wearing bright clothing and performing Bharatanatyam -- the traditional dance of South India; and, a living statue student from UW-Eau Claire.

REMINDER:  Due to model privacy laws, please refrain from drawing and/or photographing the "GO Figure" exhibit on the Hansen Gallery walls. You may, however, photograph the other sketchers, Ruby(the dancer), and the UW-EC living statue.

PARKING:  Street and parking ramp.

COST:  Free

MISCELLANEOUS:  All medium welcome. Restrooms available in the building.
